Life can feel isolating when we try to face our challenges alone. In Unfold’s small-group telehealth sessions, you’ll discover that sharing your story and hearing others’ experiences can spark fresh insights and gentle encouragement. Group therapy offers a unique combination of peer support and professional guidance, helping you build resilience, practice new ways of relating, and feel seen in a safe, confidential environment.
Each group is hosted via Cliniko’s built-in telehealth platform and strictly capped at four people (three participants plus me). This ensures everyone has time to speak, connect, and receive individual attention. Rather than emailing or phoning to enquire about spots, you’ll be able to see scheduled group “events” listed on this page. Simply choose the theme and date that suits you, then book immediately online.
What Group Therapy Looks Like
- Telehealth via Cliniko: Join from wherever you feel most comfortable, using a secure, private video link.
- Four-Person Format: A consistent cohort of up to three clients plus me, so we can build trust and safety over time.
- Six Weekly Sessions: Ninety minutes each, held at the same day and time each week to foster rhythm and routine.
- Trauma-Informed, Psychodynamic Approach: Grounded in active listening, reflective dialogue and peer support.
How It Works with Me
I’ll guide our group through a structured process designed to balance personal sharing and practical skill-building:
- Opening Check-In & Intentions
Each session begins with a brief round where everyone names how they’re feeling and what they hope to gain. - Focused Exploration
We dive into the week’s theme—whether it’s managing stress, navigating transition or boosting self-worth—using open questions and reflective prompts. - Experiential Exercises
From guided journaling to role-plays or grounding techniques, you’ll practise new ways of relating both inside and outside the group. - Action Planning
We close by setting one or two simple, attainable steps to work on before our next meeting.
